Book Summary: And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. This is a brief passage of scripture, but is powerful (Revelation 12:11 esv). There is deep meaning to these two statements. One statement is built on the work of Jesus and His action. The second statement is built upon the declaration of our testimony to God’s work in our lives. We overcome by the word of our testimony, by our faithful commitment to God and by declaring His goodness in our lives. We are even willing to declare that we will not waver from our faith in Him during trials, tribulations or even in the face of death. In this collaboration you get to hear the stories, testimonies of 14 people who felt like at one point in their lives they were in the fire, but just like those three Hebrew boys Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3) God allowed us to come through the fire. We are living in times where people have really lost hope and the last 2 years of the pandemic has exacerbated these feelings of hopelessness. It is the hope of the visionary and contributing authors that our stories will offer hope to situations that look hopeless like ours once did. It does not matter what it is, God will see us through if we put our faith and trust in Him. We have come through the fire, we have overcome and we are giving God all the praise.
